GOD’S WORD NEVER FAILS

Maybe your heart needs this reminder, too.

Our God is not just a promise maker, He is a promise keeper.

So many times in my own life, I have received a word from the Lord and it doesn’t pan out the way my creative mind thinks it will (I’m pretty good at getting a glimpse of the picture and painting the rest with my imagination…anyone relate?). It doesn’t happen in the timeframe my not-always-patient self thinks it will (hello, hurry!).

But that doesn’t mean it’s not happening in the exact way God intended for it to!

Because His ways and thoughts are so much higher, and we can rest in the fact that He is good and He withholds no good thing from His people.

And we can never hold onto the promise tighter than we hold onto the One who gives the promise to begin with.

Because ultimately, He is our reward.
